Three ways to experience the method

The Gyrotonic & Gyrokinesis method:
fluidity, mobility and deep strength

Two methods, one approach to movement

Created by Juliu Horvath, these two complementary practices use fluid,
circular and three-dimensional movements to create space in the body,
mobilize the joints and develop deep strength through low-impact movement.

Gyrotonic practice on specialized wooden equipment

What is Gyrotonic?

Gyrotonic is practiced on specially designed wooden equipment, including the Pulley Tower. Using pulleys and adjustable resistance, the equipment supports the body through fluid movement, guided stretching and functional strength work, while encouraging greater mobility throughout the spine.

Gyrokinesis exercises

What is Gyrokinesis?

Gyrotonic is known for its gentle and progressive approach. Exercises can be adapted for people experiencing back tension or returning to physical activity after an injury. It is a low-impact practice in which movements are performed progressively and with control.

If you have an injury, persistent pain or a diagnosed medical condition, consult your doctor or healthcare professional beforehand.
